On Friday 30th May Hanborough Bowls club with friends from Witney Town Bowls club, travelled down to Weston-super-Mare.

For the annual bowls tour.

All those that went would like to thank Dawn for organising the whole event.

This was challenging, due to a number of people unable to join in the trip due to personal reasons.

Everyone that did go, wish them all the best.

Everyone was looking forward to the challenges of playing on new greens and meeting new bowling friends.

Having travelled down on the Friday morning, a number of people were busy booking in to their rooms, while others were getting ready to play the first game.

The game was captained by Julie unfortunately after a challenging game lost the first game.

After the game all the players were glad to arrive back to the hotel, ready for an evening meal and entertainment provided by the hotel.

The free bar was a great addition to the evening and was appreciated well by all.

The following 3 games were captained by Dawn winning 1 and losing the other 2.

Both Julie and Dawn said that although they lost, they had won by meeting and making new bowling friends.
